Around sixty members took part in the walk. A very sunny, but cold day greeted the walkers at the start point in Shide. There was a choice of two distances. Six miles to Merstone and back and a three mile walk with a Mini-Bus laid on to bring them back to Shide.

A big thank you to the helpers, including Karen Eels and her back up team. Karen organised medals for all the walkers as well. Ron Moss's daughter baked cakes for all the finishers and delivered them to the start. 

Lyn hopes that we will raise lots of money for the club, there is already over £1,000 in the kitty.
