Karens's information

Karen Eeles was asked to join the trustees of Wight Cardiac Rehab (formerly IW Heart Care Club) at the foundational meeting of WCR in April 2024. Karen has been responsible for organising the sponsored walks for the club/charity, including medals, refreshments and minibus return rides.

 

Currently she works as a fundraising manager and is hoping to bring her advice, support, experience and expertise to fundraising and other aspects of the work of the charity.

 

Karen says ‘I joined the HCC in 2020 after a heart bypass surgery, I have been grateful for the help and support given to me, I can see the difference the classes make to people’s health and wellbeing. 

By becoming a trustee, now the club is a charity, I can do my bit to keep the club open supporting more Island people when needed.’
