Welcome to Wight Cardiac Rehab
Wight Cardiac Rehab was established to provide a facility for people with heart conditions - particularly those recovering from heart attacks or heart surgery - to improve and preserve the quality of their lives by continued support and guidance for themselves, their carers and families.
We have changed the name from the Isle of Wight Heart Care Club.
Our aim is:

to provide a structured and supervised exercise programme tailored to an individual’s needs, clinical condition and physical limitations following a cardiac event;

to promote the achievement and maintenance of an active lifestyle;

to provide an opportunity to participate in, and contribute to, the charity’s social activities

to provide education on living a healthy and productive life;

to provide other appropriate forms of support in a friendly, inclusive atmosphere.
Please note that we have changed the times and venues for some the classes that we offer.
Wight Cardiac Rehab is based on the Isle of Wight, England, United Kingdom.
We run classes and exercise classes across many venues on a weekly basis.

Charity Update
We are very pleased to annouce that we are now a Charity. On Saturday 20th April 2024, at the EGM, everyone present agreed to the Charity recommendations proposed by the committee.
We are also very pleased to annouce that Major General Sir Martin White has agreed to become our new Patron.
